OBJECTIVES FOR THIS CLASS Students will: 1. Assemble, monitor, and maintain a wireless laptop lab which will move from one classroom to another throughout the school year. 2. Set-up a networked surveillance system for our school. 3. Trouble-shoot basic problems with all school computers. 4. Assemble new computers and install operating systems as well as all necessary software. 5. Mentor both students and teachers in specific software applications. 6. Provide role models for other females in the middle school grades. 7. Develop career awareness regarding technical skills and trades which are traditionally male oriented. 8. Design and maintain a web page of the progress in which these "Digital Divas" will make throughout the year. 9. Design a web page specific for young girls in technical fields.

THE GOALS OF THIS PROGRAM 1. Build young womens' awareness of careers in the computer industry 2. Educate and empower girls in technology 3.
