Math Olympiad is Here!

The Proud Mathletes placed 11th out of 44 schools in this year's competion.

The Math Olympiad program was first offered to Middle School Students at Hermosa Valley in 2002.  Students meet once a week at 7:30 am to work on problem solving.  To become a proud “Mathlete,” all one needs is a genuine interest in math, a competitive spirit, a willingness to be challenged, and a desire to go beyond the regular classroom curriculum and explore the fun side of math.  Our team of competitors this year consisted of Caroline Bosmajian, Drew Dates, Cameron David, Maggie Hackney, Andrew Harley, Tyus Loman, Rohan Malpure, Juan Marcucci, Douglas Meyer, Luke Murphy, Adam Pahl, Alex Pao, Mac Power, and Casey White.
