Christy Cole

Christy Cole has worked for the last 15 years for the Southwest Special Education Local Area (SELPA). Through the SELPA she has provided school counseling and parent support services to local school districts and charter schools. She has experience working with a diverse population of students with a wide range of needs.  In the last few years she has been the Parent Support Coordinator for the SELPA providing parent support needs through groups, resources and interagency collaborations.  She has also been providing specific DIS counseling for students with disabilities from elementary school through high school.   She is also a parent of a 2nd grader currently attending Hermosa View.
