My name is Julie Lemieux and I am the middle school Resource Specialist at Hermosa Valley School. I am starting my 3rd year teaching at Hermosa Valley and absolutely love my job here! The students at this school never cease to amaze me with their incredible talents and abilities. Call me crazy but I truly enjoy working with middle school kids as they develop into teenagers!

I was born and raised in Montana where we had to crank a generator to produce electricity and pump our water from a well. Just kidding! My immediate family still lives in Montana where they enjoy all of the conveniences of modern technology. Montana was a great place to grow up, though I don't miss having to shovel my car out of snow in the mornings! I received my BA in Special Education from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and have two teaching credentials.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family while taking advantage of the wonderful California weather. I also enjoy making my own jewelry, solving sudokus, working out, attempting to snowboard and watching sports.
