Hi, I am Mr. Pratt. I have taught in Hermosa Beach for 13 years and have been a teacher for 16 years. I graduated from Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho. I earned my bachelor's degree from University of Utah and my Master's degree from California State University, East Bay.

In class I focus on the unique leaning styles of the students: some learn by using their hands, others learn from working with a partner, while others learn visually, etc. I also believe that when students are challenged, both behaviorally and academically, they will meet or exceed expectations.

I enjoy reading and writing. I also appreciate architecture and love traveling to places like Chicago with great buildings. I have also bought and renovated a few homes including the 1920s Spanish bungalow I currently have in Long Beach.

I also enjoy animals and I have two dogs whom I love to walk and spoil
