Hi! I'm Susie Jones, and as a native South Bay girl, it is with great excitement that I join the Hermosa Beach Cities School District this year! You can find me teaching in Rm. 14 as an AM Kindergarten Teacher at Hermosa View School.

I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with children so immediately after graduating form high school I obtained a Montessori Credential and became a preschool teacher. After spending nine rewarding years at a school in Palos Verdes, I decided to go back to school full time. I attended California State University Long Beach where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I followed that up with a Master's Degree in Education from Pepperdine University.

I am thrilled to now be a part of a community whose value of education can be seen in the tireless efforts of students, parents and all members of the Hermosa School District staff! When I'm not in the classroom I love to take walks on The Strand and spend time with family friends. I look forward to an amazing year!
