My name is Carrie King. I teach the wonderful AM Kinders at Hermosa View in Room 6. I graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Human Development. I then earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from USC.

Although I have only been at View 4 years, this is my 7th year teaching. In La Canada I taught kindergarten and 3rd grade. I am thrilled to be back in kindergarten here in Hermosa Beach! I love to see all the smiling, eager faces ready for each new day. I am blessed to love my job!I live in Redondo Beach with my husband and two boys, Jeffrey and Johnny. We love to play, go on walks, read books, visit Disneyland, and cook together. Our favorite thing to make is chocolate chip cookies.

My own hobbies include reading, quilting, scrapbooking, but most of all spending time with my family!
