My name is Allison Merritt and I currently teach 2nd Grade at Hermosa View. It is my third year teaching here and I feel so lucky to be at such a great school!

I was born and grew up in Southern California. I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I received my B.A. in History. After graduating, I went to Cal State Long Beach to obtain my teaching credential. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, reading, taking walks on the strand, and hanging out with the girls! Hermosa View is such a wonderful school and I love teaching and learning from all of my students - they are so special!
