My name is Marlene Ramirez. I am a first grade teacher here at Hermosa View school. I have been enthusiastic about working with children all my life. I graduated from UCLA and obtained a Masters degree in Educational Administration. I did student teaching with the Lennox School District and have taught at the Fairfax County School District in Virginia. I taught HOP for seven years here in Hermosa Beach and I am thrilled to come back to View school. Because my first language was Spanish, I integrate Spanish into my class curriculum. I have some background with Performing Arts having worked for Children's programming for NBC in Philadelphia. I try to integrate Music into my class curriculum, as well. It is a wonderful treat to be back in Hermosa teaching these wonderful students again!
