I've been teaching for 14 years. This is my 11th year at Hermosa. I've been doing the job share with Karen Maguy for 8 years. I feel so fortunate to be part of this district.

I was born and raised in Torrance. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Business Administration. Wanting more satisfaction in a career, I returned to school to complete my teaching credentials from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

I am married and have two children. My son, Zachary is 14 years old and my daughter, Madison is 10 years old. I feel so lucky to have the job share and be able to teach and have the time for my children.

Teaching is the ideal job for me! I love working with children and I am proud of my job. It's great working at Hermosa with a wonderful staff and supportive parents!
