The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) is hosting its yearly Volunteer Day on Wednesday, August 7, from 8:30-11:30 AM. This is a great opportunity for local businesses, organizations, and residents to come together with one mission - to create a healthy beach community. Consider signing up to support their LiveWell Kids Garden Program by volunteering to prep the Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach school gardens for the upcoming school year. Activities include harvesting, cleaning up, planting, weeding, assembling composters, spreading bark, and more! Register here to volunteer. Everyone is welcome!
