Measure S
Measure S was a $59 million facilities improvement bond passed by the Hermosa Beach community in the June 2016 election with 59% of the vote to address our overcrowded and outdated facilities. The passage of the bond created the Measure S School Facilities Project for the reconstruction of North School as the new Vista School and the revitalization / modernization of the district's two current schools.
The Hermosa View modernization is currently underway with a completion date of Summer 2022. To learn more about the project, see the below attachment about its history or visit Reports / Notices / Updates.
